Nailed to the bottom of the wells that are your eyes

Ink
Black and massive
Stained my soul

Memories of what never
Took place

Smiles that never reached
The lips

The stains of black ink
Found its way
Everywhere
And made life dark

If there's no beginning
Can there be an end?

By the waters edge

Rays on the floor
The door is left open
The suns warmth
Hiding beneath the slight breeze
As the rays
Dance across the floor
For what seems like forever

I wish I was dust in the air
So light never touching the floor
So forever and more

I can hear the wind
In the leafless trees
The sun kisses the grass once again
I wish I was there
By the waters edge
Looking into the deep
Cold masses
Maybe wet my feet
Maybe see myself
The reflections
Of a woman

There is a fire
Somewhere far away
The flames burn me
Just to make a point

There is no language
Everybody understands
But pain

I wish I was there
Body of water
Ontop of me
Pressed against the sand
Nothing is more real
Than when you start
Counting the
Seconds remaining
